Pharmacy Technician
Pharmacy Technician is a two years program for those who have passed matriculation from any recognized secondary Board of Pakistan. It helps pharmacists dispense prescription medication to customers or health professionals. Pharmacy Technicians/ Pharmacy Assistants work in pharmacies, including those found in drug, general merchandise, and grocery stores, and in hospitals. They are registered in Category-B in respective Provincial Pharmacy Councils. In Sindh, they can only work under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacists and are not allowed to get license for sale of drugs, as per Sindh Drug Rules.
